Traduction du rapport du 2Lt Huie H Lamb Jr - (On the 16th November 1944 at 1615 I was landing on Site A-81-C. I made a normal overhead approach to land on runway 250. As I leveled out to land I noticed that there were ships clearing the end of the runway and the runway control was giving me a green light so I came on to the end of the runway. I made a normal landing and was clearing on down to the end of the runway. When I did get to the end of the runway I saw that there were two P-47s stopped there. They had just run together and I tried to go between them. I noticed that the plane on the right pulled off the runway and I hit the other plane with my wing tip. I then spun around. J'ai fait une approche aérienne normale pour atterrir sur la piste 250. Alors que je me mettais en palier pour atterrir, j'ai remarqué qu'il y avait des avions qui dégageaient le bout de la piste et le contrôle de piste me donnait un feu vert alors je suis arrivé au bout de la piste . J'ai effectué un atterrissage normal et j'ai dégagé jusqu'au bout de la piste. Quand je suis arrivé au bout de la piste, j'ai vu qu'il y avait deux P-47 arrêtés là. Ils venaient d’atterrir ensemble et j'ai essayé de passer entre eux. J'ai remarqué que l'avion de droite a quitté la piste et j'ai heurté l'autre avion avec mon bout d'aile. J'ai alors fait demi-tour. J'ai alors éteint tous les interrupteurs et je suis sorti. |
