EXTRAIT ORB: - (NZ416312 Warrant Officer MITCHELL, R.W. Pilot and 1281197 Flight Sergeant BALLARD R.L. took off on patrol but experienced engine trouble, after a flight of 35 minutes MITCHELL decided to return to base, and crashed on landing. Pending the final examination of the engine the pilot is being held to blame for the accident in not switching over from cuter to main patrol tanks on take-off. Après 35 minutes de vol, Mitchell a décidé de retourner à sa base et s'est écrasé à l'atterrissage. Dans l'attente des résultats de l'examen final du moteur, le pilote est tenu pour responsable de l'accident pour ne pas avoir basculé des réservoirs auxiliaires aux réservoirs principaux de patrouille au décollage. L'appareil a été classé  ClassCat.E. Mitchell a été légèrement blessé, tandis que Ballard est indemne. |
