Rapport d’accident: - ( Pilot was practicing take-offs and landings. After one landing the control tower operator called by radio and notified the pilot that one of his tires appeared to be flat. The pilot circled the field and attempted to land the aircraft with the right wing low thereby keeping the right of the aircraft off the left wheel and tire which was flat. When flying speed was lost the aircraft had veered to the left side of the runway and as the weight settled on the flat tire the aircraft swerved off the runway. About one foot off the runway the left wheel hit some hard ground full of deep ruts. The impact of the wheel with the flat tire striking one of the these ruts caused the left gear to collapse. As a result the landing gear was driven up through the left wing and center section. The wing, props, and center section were damaged along with the landing gear. Le pilote s'entraînait aux décollages et atterrissages. Après un atterrissage, l'opérateur de la tour de contrôle a appelé par radio et a informé le pilote qu'un de ses pneus semblait crevé. Le pilote a fait le tour du terrain et a tenté d'atterrir l'avion avec l'aile droite basse, gardant ainsi la droite de l'avion éloignée de la roue gauche et du pneu qui était à plat. Lorsque la vitesse de vol a été perdue, l'avion a viré du côté gauche de la piste et lorsque le poids s'est installé sur le pneu crevé, l'avion a fait une embardée hors de la piste. À environ un pied de la piste, la roue gauche a heurté un sol dur plein d'ornières profondes. L'impact de la roue avec le pneu crevé heurtant l'une de ces ornières a provoqué l'affaissement du train gauche. En conséquence, le train d'atterrissage a été entraîné vers le haut à travers l'aile gauche et la section centrale. L'aile, les accessoires et la section centrale ont été endommagés ainsi que le train d'atterrissage. L'avion a été remis à la récupération.
