Rapport d’accident: - (Pilot was cleared on an administrative flight. When he came in to land his indicator showed his nose wheel not fully extended and locked. Pilot attempted to bounce nose wheel into place but was unsuccessful. He then regained altitude and used emergency procedures without success. As a last resort pilot again attempted to bounce nose wheel into place. On this attempt, as the main gear hit the nose of the aircraft dropped allowing the propellers to hit the runway. Pilot cut all switches and the aircraft skidded halfway down the runway on the main gear and nose. The left landing gear collapsed and the plane then skidded off the runway. Investigation revealed malfunction of the nose gear strut bearing. Malfunction of the nose gear in believed to have been caused by binding of the strut bearing, part number 8239-9.Original) - source : Accident Report - AFHRA:
