Aide à l'évasion du Sgt Witham: Oscar Dion, Jean Lacour, Mr Fourner (tous de Chantilly) Rapport de fuite (Sgt Witham) - ( We took off from Kirmington in a Lancaster aircraft on 3 Aug 44 at 10h30 hrs. I bailed out at 14h15 hrs and landed in a quarry near St-Maximin. I hid in a nearby forest until the following morning, (4 Aug), when I began walking NE. After a time I contacted a girl who brought her brother. He took me to a slit trench near his home and I spent the night in it. The following day (5 Aug) he took me to a house, where I stayed one night. On 6 Aug the woman with whom I had stayed took me to Chantilly, where we met a man who took me to a house in Chantilly where I stayed until 7 Sep when I contacted the Allied Forces. Le lendemain (5 août), il m'a emmené dans une maison où je suis resté une nuit. Le 6 août, la femme avec laquelle j'étais resté m'a emmenée à Chantilly, où nous avons rencontré un homme qui m'a emmené dans une maison à Chantilly où je suis resté jusqu'au 7 septembre lorsque j'ai contacté les forces alliées. Je me suis rendu à Paris, où j'ai été brièvement interrogé par IS9 et envoyé au Royaume-Uni par avion.
