Extrait du rapport du pilote (Source: Accident Report - AFHRA): My approach was fast but necessarily so because at about 60 ft - 80ft in the air my right engine quit and immediately after that the left engine quit. I gave my pre-arranged signal to the co-pilot, who feathered both engines and cut all switches and cropped the flaps. He hit the ground quite gently and snidded straight ahead for ewhile where very suddently the ship turned sideways and "bucked" - thats is, bouncing, stopping, bouncing, etc.
Finally it came to a halt with a terrific jolt and we abandoned it in a matter of very few seconds. On the approach, I opened all emergency hatches in the pilot's compartment. The bombardier, the co-pilot and myself left by these hatches. The other three men left by the escape hatch in the navigator's compartment.
