Extrait du rapport d'enquête (Source: Accident Report - AFHRA): Shortly after aircraft became airborne left engine failed. Speed was not yet sufficient for single engine operation. Pilot was nor able to maintain normal altitude of aircraft, left wing dropped to approximately forty five (45) degrees, bank and left wing tip scraped runway . Aircraft then settled down on main wheels but was heading off to the left of the runway approximately twenty (20) degrees. At this time left engine power came back and pilot tried to keep aircraft flying. Pilot noted that manifold pressure had come back up to forty (40) inches. Aircraft was airborne again for only a few seconds when left engine failed again and left wing stalled out completely, stricking the ground. Pilot cut throttles and mixture. Gear had not retracted. Aircraft rolled and skidded across rough terrain for one hundred (100) yards collapsing all landing gear. Aircraft skidded into B26C45 42-107739 collapsing nose wheel of the parked aircraft and breaking the right wing of B26G 43-34433. Aircraft burst into flames approximately one minute after the collision with parked aircraft. The bombs in the aircraft exploded approximately four (4) minutes after the crash.
