On the morning of May 1st pilot preflighted the airplane and found it to be in operating condition to his own satisfaction. At approximately eighty feet in the air the engine failed. The pilot turned left to avoid High Tension wires and Power Lines. The left wing tip hit the ground, the plane then went through a ditch and fence, coming to a stop two hundred yards from take off position. )
