When the aircraft stalled, the left wing dropped, striking the ground, causing the aircraft to swing violently to the left. The aircraft struck a large pile of dirt 100 feet off the edge of the runway and was demolished. The pilot was uninjured. ---- (Le 2e Lt Robert N Blakeslee, atterrissant après un vol de transbordement de routine, s'est stabilisé trop haut. Lorsque l’avion a décroché, l’aile gauche a chuté, heurtant le sol, ce qui l’a fait balancer violemment vers la gauche.
