As yellow flight which I was leading turned into the bandits they were already firing on green flight. The lead Me 109 at which I fired was on the tail of green 2 firing and getting strikes. Green 2 started smoking, went into a spin and bailed out. Alors que la patrouille jaune, que je dirigeais, se tourne vers eux, ils étaient déjà en train de tirer sur la patrouille verte. Le premier Me 109 sur lequel j’ai tiré était collé à la queue de Green 2, tirant et obtenant des impacts. Green 2 a commencé à fumer, est parti en vrille et le pilote a sauté.
